About
Meet Yechiel Fayershteyn
LMHC-D, CGP · Process-Oriented Psychotherapist · Psychodynamic

Working with individuals, couples, and groups, I help clients develop greater self-awareness, understand recurring emotional and relational patterns, and navigate life's challenges with more clarity, flexibility, and intention.
My approach is psychodynamic and process-oriented. That means we don't only look at what is happening — we get curious about why it keeps happening. The patterns that bring people into therapy almost always make sense when you understand where they came from and what they've been trying to protect. Once that becomes visible, real choice becomes possible.
In session I'm thoughtful, collaborative, and direct when it's useful. I take the work seriously and the person sitting across from me even more so. Some clients are navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, or a major life transition. Others are working on a relationship, on intimacy, on how they show up at work or with family. Many simply want to understand themselves better and live with more intention.
I also serve as a Certified Group Psychotherapist (CGP) and consult with clinicians and organizations on group process and clinical development.
